my 1969 20hp johnson pee hole ????

I have a 69 20hp johnson...i'm sure of the model..and there doesn't seem to be a pee hole, but just water comming out of the exhaust hole ?..right in the middle of the motor body above the water line...the guy I bought it from says it don't got a pee hole ?...he says for as long as he has had it , it only sprays water from this exhaust area ???...is he right ?...help !!!<br /><br />Thanx , Mike<br />I left my manual at work 2 days after I bought it and someone took it or hid it...I know I'm an IDIOT !!

He's right.<br /><br />I belive the spray should only really get going once the engine is warmed up and the thermostat is open. If it starts spraying good right off, you might want to check it out and make sure the 'stat isn't stuck open.<br /><br />Good luck!

Most of your older moters don't have pee holes,you just have to look a little closer at that exhaust hole you decribed
