well made some progress in the last few days bought a new bosch grinder online should be here soon might be done with all the grinding by the time it does tho, haha. been using a belt sander. i think i have alot of grinding left acually. there is one other hole in hull that i need to fix

take a look at the pictures there is one of the hole in the hull its located in the front of the boat there is about 1/2" layer of foam then a small layer of fiberglass the foam all seams dry this is on the walls of the hull only my question is do i need to remove the small layer of glass and foam? or no?

haha sorry the hole is in the front driver side there is a small layer of glass i guess maybe matt then about 1/2" of foam then the acutal hull if you look at the third picture over you can see the hole its kinda hard to see it i might post another picture tomorrow. when its fixed and i put the top half back on it will be under seats in the bow of the boat. all the 1/2 " foam was sprayed in about the deck level and glassed over.. im guessing it was sprayed in.

Ok Now I unnerstan. I would get a piece of Blue Foam panel from Lowes and cut a piece to fit that hole as best I could, pare it down to the proper thickness and then fit it in the hole. I would mix up some Resin and thicken it with some sanding dust to fill in the gaps and then I would lay a couple of layers of csm over it and call it good. That will reinforce that portion of the hull and It'll be fine. You're doing a good job

I'm just sayin...:D

yep make the foam patch then glass it all in. Your hull appears to be a Foam Core hull so NO you do NOT have to replace the foam it is supposed to be there. Strength and Sound Dampening. Patch it and move on!!!

I'm just sayin...:D
