My new boat!

So a couple of you have been helping me decide between a rinker and regal boat. I went with the regal valanti. Nicer paint, nicer interior, bigger engine, better shape, way nicer trailer...... you could tell it was a way better built boat. Got it for a grand more then the rinker. 4200 tax, title out the door. Tell me what you think!

Its got the 4.3lx in it. The dealer said 190hp.... in a 17foot boat, I'm thinking 45mph!

Ryan - That 17 footer with the 4.3 should honk! I would expect you will see 50mph. I have an 18 footer with the 4.3 and get close to 50. Yours is smaller than mine (the boat).

No I have a 1982 imperial 18 footer with a merc 120. Nice boat, just wanted something a little newer and faster. Also, its not the best tubing boat, not enough torque.

ryanr623, Man awesome looking boat. I own a 93 Regal Valanti 206sc. They are great boats. Just finishing a interior restore on it now. Glad to say I only had one spot with any "soft wood" in the floor. Easily replaced. Enjoy it!!!

I have a 17ft with the 4.3.. Crazy fast...

you should be able to hit 50 i know my 18 1/2 ebbtide can do about 53mph with 2 ppl on board

Yeah, the regal was a way better boat...... feel, look, motor, etc. Plus it had no pink in it

Will do. I'm not taking delivery of it until spring. The paperwork states "sale pending water test". The dealership won't sell boats without a test drive first (which i am ALL for, and impressed with)... although it'll be a month before the ice breaks up here.

Got a deposit on it though. So it's mine pending any disasters.
