I'll agree with everyone Jerry and say great job.! Believe me I know (as many others) how it feels to have a newly painted boat. I gotta ask my friend..you gonna use that forklift to lift it again??? Let me guess, lots of carpet, padding, love & care, right? I just love the inguenity of SC owners!!

Thank you! Yeah, we're gonna use the forklift to get her back on the trailer. We'll use tons of bubble wrap and a couple blankets while moving VERY slow!

Looks great. I think you have the nicest, best fitting, perfectly lined up windshield I've seen on an SC :D

Thanks, it looks way better in the pictures though. The aluminum frame needs to be cleaned up. Doesn't look nearly as nice in real life!

Re: My new Starcraft Project

Update:
We replaced the gimbal bearing and found that the outdrive bell housing needed to be replace :(. It's a good thing our $300 motor purchased last year included one!

Cleaned up the trim cylinders

Cut the rocket launcher... It was wayyy to high for us short people...

Filled up the tank and went fishing. This was the first trip of the year so we expected some setbacks and no fish, but all went well! The day was great and I even caught a bunch of little blues.

We do have a little leak by the bottom of the housing so we still have to seal that up, but all in all it was a great day!

Heading to the ramp:

Boat ride back to the Cape May Canal, trying to beat the Ferry back... We lost. That thing is freakin fast!!

Cleaning up and flushing her out:

Shots of the rig in action, cool! Man, even thought there is only a foot difference between the two, that Starcraft prolly feels like a little toy compared to that big glass Donzi.
