Not really:
Finding a boat of the same (BAJA) manufacture is a lot easier than finding another woman to fall in love with (or whatever) with the same name. For future reference, it's easier to explain.

Good ink artist spend just as much time doing "cover -ups" as they do regular tattoo's ........ so if you ever fall out of love with that tat....... the artist would probably use the letter B in baja for your new love Bayliner!!! Yup bayliner's are easier to find used then Baja's LOL

Personally, I would have just picked up a Baja T-shirt, but to each his own. I have friends with football teams tattoo'd on them. I don't have one and never will. I just don't feel the need. It's done well, which is cool. I've seen some bad work on friends.

I wonder if Baja could press charges and force you to have it removed if they don't feel you are something they would want associated with their brand. lol

The artwork looks good.

As far as branding yourself with a specific manufacturer, I guess it wouldn't matter if you owned another kind of boat and had that tattoo. People would just wonder why.

Also is baja still around? If not, you have kind of limited yourself to options, assuming you plan to stick with the brand.

If he wanted to be more upscale, i don't think he would have gotten any tattoo.

Add the fact that Baja went Chapter 11 a couple years ago! They did get out of it with a new investor but not sure I would be putting their name on my body any time soon.

Absolute worst case scenario is he gets another 30 or so tats and turns his back into a logo montage. That would be cool!

I can remember years ago the last thing you wanted to do was ask some guy you just met sitting at the bar at the CPO Club about a tattoo or scar. Pretty soon everyone in the club was playing show and tell with their respective marks and every mark had a long story to go with it. Often times it would seem to go on till dawn and you still didn?t get a chance to show off your own.

Always wanted the pig tattoo on my leg but my wife at the time thought it was a silly superstition. Now I am old and gray and not the strong swimmer I used to be I still might get one if I can get Medicare or Tricare to pay for it.

You are right...the way I said that made it sound like that. Should have said any tatoo with a boat name. I have many friends with tatoos that are cool...just not any with boat names. Have even considerred getting one(without boat name) myself but thought better of it.
