hi all, i have bought a 2 hp suzuki dt2 outboard from the local sea scouts to use on my inflatable. we took it down the river near canterbury today, and it ran ok for a while, then it kept cutting out. I putfresh fule in with 100:1 oil ratio (i used garden 2 stroke oil from halfords - is that ok?!). i have used it at sea, and intend to use it for fishing, but it has to be reliable! i must admit i forgot to undo the vacuum cap, but it still cut out when i remembered to un do it! When it did cut out, it wouldnt seem to start - i put the choke on, and after a while it fired, then as soon as i moved the choke back int running position it would cut out. could it be flooded? can i get some additive card cleaner? many thanks for any help, cheers, gareth
ps i came home and ran it in a bucket, took a while to start again, but once running, seemd ok, maybe a blocked jet or something...!?
