My youngest did me proud

We went to my buddies farm pond to get the kids out of moms hair for a while. My youngest was using my spare 7'pole with a zebco 33 and a small red/white spinner. he was on the other side of the pond from me and was messing around more or less jigging the spinner and WHAM this 6 lb beauty hit and he landed her by himself. <br /> <br /><br />

Nice Fish! He will remember that one forever!!! Dad has trained him well. Those zebcos have landed some mighty nice fish, for many a kid.

No doubt. He is hooked on fishing now. What a great story. Thanks for posting it.<br /><br />The Zebco 33 is a favorite of mine. Always has been. I used to get laughed at using one compared to the Big $$ reels friends used. They didn't laugh so much when I won a tourny with big fish, a 8 3/4 lb large mouth that the taxidermist said would have been over ten if I had caught it before spawn.
