mystery plug help needed

Yes, I need a shop manual.<br />Replaced the inline fuel filter and noticed this<br />errant ground wire.<br />

<br />Also noticed this unplugged connector.<br />

[?]<br />I am 98% sure I didn't unplug or disconnect these wires. <br />So I think the engine runs fine without them, but I haven't tried it yet.<br />What are these for, and do I need them? Thanks.

I believe that is to your trim guage. Should be the other end coming up into the cowling with the trim motor wires.

See that glass filter? Get rid of it. It's a fuel restriction on a V6 looper.

started up fine. <br />Could be the trim gauge, seeing as I don't have a trim gauge.<br /><br />Don't really get the point of the trim gauge. I'll just turn my head around and look at the motor.
