You cannot inspect it . . . that is why it is a bad design. My design preference would be to have the base of the fuel tank bay raised a few inches above the keel and the aft end of the tank open. Moisture would then have a place to go that is any from the fuel tank.
Adding a limber hole to the fuel tank bay is also a good thing, and something that many of us have done on our rebuilds.
Still doesn't answer my question how do you maintain and inspect something that's wrapped on 5 sides with foam? Guess you look at the top and pray the rest is good![]()
