No kidding. Flippin' Newman. That will mess up both Kyle and Gordon's plans. and even the #31 was in the mix. Wow!

Wow!! Congratulations, Don, I know you pull for the #24. I can't believe he pulled that off.

I can't believe they got the 24 back from the way it was earlier. That has to be one of the craziest races I've seen. Have to congratulate Kyle in the 18, what a looser.

I'll let the sleepy guys find out who won on their own. I'm happy. :D

As dejected as Jeff G. was in the interview during the red flag, I figured he about gave up. He and his crew made one heck of a come back to make the Chase. I think he has some momentum now. Championship #5 maybe?

I would love to see him win #5. When watching him get out of the car after the race, by the expression on his face and his actions you would think he won the championship already.

Pretty awesome ... I dozed off for a few laps till my pager went off for a vehicle into a tree, minor injuries ... quick call. Only missed about 50 laps. definitely and entertaining race with a whole lot of twists and turns. Smoke brought his car from nowhere to the front, Newman made a run at the impossible before fading, Jeffy, well, with fresh tires he and Smoke were cutting a second off the leaders time every lap ... thought they were gonna pull it off, aaahhh, but just a little too much gas in the tank for them to win. Not a Gordon fan, but loved his reaction to bumping Baby Busch out of the Chase.

Glad I stayed up, but hurting pup this am!

Re: NASCAR - Richmond

went to bed at the first rain delay and awoke this morning to learn Hendrick has all 4 of his cars in the chase ..:D.. I don't recall any team ever having 4 cars in the chase, no matter who wins the championship, Hendrick has to have the dominate team in Sprint Cup .... not being an 18 fan, I have to admit I was very happy to read that the 24 knocked him out of the chase .... there is no doubt that with him being out, he will be on an all out mission to win the remaining races .... that promises to be interesting

Sure was nice to skip thru all the commercials!

What a run for Gordon and his team. Never would have thought he could pull it off. Shrubby, well, ba bye!!!

Glad to see Smoke stay in the top 10 in points. Now he can take advantage of his wins and get those critical bonus points. Starting the Chase in 3rd. Wouldn't mind if he won it again.......

Can't forget my boy Burton. Finished 6th. Good night for him.

Finally, kudos to 'speck! He made it! Now, take a nap........:)

I sooooo wanted him to fall out of the top 10. Funny how we all think differently. I want Harvick, but I am almost routing harder for Hamlin. I want Darian Grub vindicated!!! What Stewart did to him last year still pizzes me off

Well I'm pulling for the #24. He's been my guy since DE said Jeff was too young for champagne and was then milk toasted by Jeff at the awards banquet for his first title.

I totally agree about Stewart's mis-treatment of Darian Grubb. One thing I've noticed about Tony is his blame placing. What ever goes wrong is always caused by some else, never his fault. Grubb put him in position to win the title last year and Tonys temper caused him to say or do something in the course of the Chase that couldn't be taken back. IMHO. of course.

I agree with the Grubb thing to a certain extent. It was my understanding(we're talking a year ago so the ol' memory could be failing) that Grubb leaving the team was in the works, if not a done deal, when Tony's wheels were basically falling off. This was when Tony thought his chance to make the Chase was over. Granted, the team turned it around, obviously. But by that point, Grubb was already slated to go down the road. It just looked really bad when Tony won the Chase after all and Grubb was gone.

I don't know, it did look really messy.....

Never warmed up to Harvick. Not sure why, which makes it really odd since he's Burton's teammate. Not thrilled about all 4 Hendrick cars being in. However, rather see Jeffy than Shrubby any day!

I agree with the announcers, looks to be a real good last 10 races with the field that's "in".

I'm a #31 fan, so I have to root for Harvick as a teammate, and I've also come to really like DeLana as well, so there you go. The way Grubb handled all that showed real class. Can't say the same for Tony despite his obvious talents.
