Need 1995 125HP Merc carbs

Well, I've been sc***ed

Bought what I thought was a 2000 model (according to the SN tag), but ended up with a 1995 block with 115HP carbs (1996/1997 51- series). So they "bent me over" twice in the same deal

I rebuilt the block and discovered this after I've ran it on the lake. It "surges" from half to WOT, otherwise, it idles and goes low speed just fine. That's when I matched the numbers on the carbs to my manual.

I'm looking for (4) 34-1,2,3,4 series 125HP carbs hopefully w/o buying them new (over $1600). EDIT: The carbs I have are in excellent running condition. They look brand new with no damage.

Does someone know someone that knows someone??? It's looking grim right now

After some research, I find that instead of needing carbs, I need a midsection that is for small bore and not big bore. Apparently, the 1995 125HP block is considered small bore and requires a different back pressure than the 2000 model 125HP.

So, now I'm on the hunt for a 1994/1995 125HP Merc midsection. I am willing to trade out the big bore model that I have.

Any help would be appreciated
