Hey guys, I was out all weekend with the wife and the dog on the boat and it was a pain to plain out, I don't care if I loose speed but I need a prop that will plain me out with heavy loads. I have a 9.5 Evinrude on a 14ft alum. boat. Prop right now is standard.

Thanks,

What pitch do you have???
I think your best bet for the money would be smart-tabs. They'll do what no prop can do on a rig that size, and ya still get to keep your top-end, maybe even add a mph or 2.
Check here at iboats, look under trim-tabs.

Yes...they are by far a better choice than trying to prop for better hole-shot.
They will make a whole new boat out of that 14ft'r....in-fact, that size of boat is where they really shine.
I'll get Nautijohn on here...he's with Nauticus-the manufacturer.

Mr. Bell;

We first delevoped the Smart Tabs for a 10' inflatable tender with a 9.9 hp OB.

If you were a pilot I doubt that you would fly any plane without wing flaps, even a small Piper Cub.

Use the ST780-20 which typically retail for $100.00 to $120.00 per pair. fully automatic, no wires, no hoses, just install and go.
