Questions like this are usuay worthless to someone looking for insurance. The differences among different states are too great, even comparing the same 2 companies.
Some here have praised Brand X and others swear at them. I have had 30 years experience with Brand Y and have nothing but high praise for them, but I bet if you mentioned that name a dozen would come on here and say they are the absolute worst.
Now, I believe they even take your credit score into account, so 2 neighbors might get different quotes for the same boat. Not to mention accident history and marine experience.
Do your homework - Go shopping and pick the one that makes sense to you.
