I need a non-rust bracket for a pitot (spedometer) tube that looks like the one attached.

Where can I find such, and is there a special name for them?

Looks like a standard tube clamp. You can get them in any material including nylon and stainless. Look online at hardware suppliers.

You might even try Radio Shack. They are also used to hang coaxial cable in your house. :D

Many small Mom & Pop hardware stores have drawers full of stuff that you can't find at the big box stores.

Well, I've been to Radio Shack, Home Depot, WalMart, Advanced Auto Parts, a True Value hardware store, and the local Boaters World and West Marine. And, I've looked at a million brackets on line.

NO luck, except for a similar one that will rust, and a plastic one that I don't trust not to break.

Does anyone know exactly where these things can be found?

Just thinking out loud but was wondering about taking your existing part and dipping into some "liquid tape" or something along that line. I can't recall the exact name but I'm sure you know what I'm thinking about. Have absolutely no idea if it will work or not.

If you really, really, really, can't find those clips, go to Lowes or Depot and buy the big stainless steel fender washers. Then cut the shape out of one of the washers and you will have what you need.

you can use the little plastic clamps the cable guys use to hold the tv cable, pull the nail out, and use a stainless screw. they are available in the electrical supply depts.

home depot or lowes in the plumbing section you can get copper ones used to attach pipe to walls in construction. Paint it black if you want.
