I have a 4 cyl. 2 stroke on pontoon boat, it has no tach so I figured I would buy one

The ones on ebay and amazon like this see above picture

now the issue is this

All reference this

Applicatve Engine Types:
2 Stroke of 1 Cylinder/ 2 Cylinders/ 3 Cylinders/

4 Stroke of 1 Cylinder/ 2 Cylinders/ 3 Cylinders/ 4 Cylinders/ 5 Cylinders/ 6 Cylinders/ 8 Cylinders/ 12 Cylinders/ 16 Cylinders/

These all (multiple brands/rebrands etc) leave my engine out?

Any ideas that won't break the bank? want to make sure it is revving they way it is supposed

the wire gets wrapped around a spark plug wire. they work on anything. its a knock-off of the tiny-tach. they even work on snow blowers, lawn mowers and chain saws.

so long story short. if you have a spark plug wire to wrap the tack sense wire around, it will work.

Or buy the Hardline up to 8 cylinder engines hour/tach model HR-8062-2. Follow easy installation procedures.
