Need advise on old Mercury

Can anyone tell that I correctly determined year of this motor as 1979?

That is correct according to the maxrules model year guide.

That decal was used in the 79 model year.----Install a new impeller before you use the motor.

It will be a while till I try to run it.
I have done only one Mercury before: 1969 4HP K.
It will be another learning project, but I got it cheap and it spins, was sitting in the garage for a while.
I will take it slowly.

Taking the carburetor off can be tricky on those I believe.
