Need carb kits for outboard 115ETLJ

Im not sure what part numbers i need to rebuild the carbs on my Yamaha 1986 model 115ETLJ outboard. I really need to know what to buy to get this done. I wanted to do it last year but could not figure out wich part numbers i needed. Im not sure if the upper and lower carbs are different numbers for the rebuild kits? Can someone PLEASE help me out here? THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME!!!!

its sunday morning and here at the house I have no parts manuals.
however google yamaha marine and enter the yamaha official website.
then follow the links to parts and service then enter your product and model number and look at the section repair kits 1.
the kit is not listed under carburator its under repair kit,usually 1 but occasionally repair kit 2.
otherwise ya gotta wait till the next time I am playing on the computer at the shop after hours.

Im there and looking at the part numbers for everything and im not sure what i need. I dont know if the "carb kit" refers to one or both carbs? And there is others that im not sure what they are. I have been trying to get this info for two years now! Im sure there is a kit that has everything i need in it but i just do not know which one that i need! When are you going to be at the shop and on the computer there? Id be happy to call you if you can help me figure out what it is that i need. Thanks again!!!

when I bring it up on parts smart I get no diagram. post the seriel number and ill try it on the dreaded parts manager pro.

I used 6E5-W0093-06 in my '89 115. My carbs are the double float. If you need the floats as well this kit does not include them. Sierra has a kit that does 2 carbs with floats ( available on iboats ). My kits were for 1 carb each from a Yamaha dealer. You need to get upclose and personal with the Yamaha parts web site. It seems they have been using the same 2 float carb for 20 years. Now if you have the single float carb you may be *&^%^! good luck Jerry

Im not sure about the floats. Im half tempted to just buy the whole carbs new. They are listed on the boats.net partslist this way i know what im getting. Or i might just have to go to the Yamaha dealer thats not so close to me and ask them what kits i need. Thanks though.

Hi Drew,

I have the same exact engine and need the carb kits too. Did you ever find out what the "iboat.com" number is for these carb kits or find them somewhere else?

The ones I see on iboat site is for a 1990 model. Am wondering if they are the same thing. The picture looks like what I have in mine when I disassemblied them. I see someone said Yamaha has used the same carb for 20 years. Anything to that?
