Need Elder 6hp Johnson information

Have obtained an elder Johnson 6hp motor. Been in storage for ten + years. Cleaned up well, runs with help from starting fluid but will not continue to run. Question; clogged Carb? Also trying to establish the vintage of this thing. Model GR-69M, Sn J3049426. Any one have a similar unit? Want to get a manual but need year first. Thank you. See ya!

Hi ricl Your motor is a 1969. Do not use<br />starting fluid, use WD40 - no lub. in<br />starting fluid. Regards Tom
