Need Entry Boat Info

What boat can be towed, go in the ocean and have a head? How short can that be? What would it weigh? How much would it cost? Who would be the best mfg? This boat would be used for pleasure and fishing. And it would have to be an overnight boat if they are referred to as such. I think you know what I mean. You can stay out on the ocean all night if you wanted/needed to. Can you provide with me some ideas or point me in the right direction? Obviously I know very little at this point.

What's your expection? What do consider going to the Ocean, how far out?What's your budget?
To many unknows to make a good recomendation at this point.

There have been home made 8' boats that have sailed accross the ocean. Go up from there.

Where do you plan to do your boating? How many people do you plan on carrying? What do you have for a tow fehicle? Power or sail? - - - - - And the list goes on.

Your idea of "overnighting" is key. Many folks overnight at a marina, or anchored in a cove. Not nearly so many overnight out on the open ocean. You can get by with a much smaller boat in the cove than out on the ocean.
