I just bought the boat. The motor fired right up and runs good.At a idle the motor shoots water out the two holes in the back and up to about half throttle, then it seems to disappear.the overheat alarm never went off.Is there a way to test the alarm to see if it is working.
2nd question
the trim works to pick the motor up and down but when you get it on the water and try to trim it out the force of the motor pushes it down, how can i fix that.
3rd question
I see reading some of these post people added pee tube to make sure their motor was getting water, how can i add one

First, find the overheat sensor on the head and ground the lead coming from it with the key on.
Second, you can't if you're talking about the motor powering down to the trim pin. They're designed to do that. There are distinct trim and trim ranges for a bunch of reasons including handling, cooling water intake, and float-bowl carbs to name a few.
Third, find a 1/8 pipe plug on your cylinder head or top of the block and put a fitting with a small hose nipple on it there. Drill an oppropriate sized hole in the rear stbd corner of the pan, and route a couple feet of aquarium hose.

Most of the water goes out the exhaust snout behind the prop. Some comes out of those relief holes. Once the boat is on plane, all or most of that water is sucked out at the snout.

Yes, #78 in the link. Located above and just in front of the thermostat housing.

I would like to thank everyone for their help. I feel better, never owned a force I got a good deal on the boat.people told me their hard to get parts for.It seems like it runs good though.I live in a area where most of our lakes are just 20h.p. and I bought a lowe aluminum bass boat for that. But, Raystown lake and the strippers, lake trout, big muskie, get a little addicting. thanks, tim chappell
