ok...I wanted to put some deep creep in my carbs to leave it overnight and clean them good. I removed the plug screw on the lower end of the carb(float bowl). This is the screw that , I guess, holds the high speed orifice in? So I let the gas pour out. I take my deep creep and shoot it into the carb(main body whole were the fuel comes out) with the plastic extension so I can get it into the body of the carb. It works cause I see the liquid slowly come out where I removed the plug screw. I tried to put the screw back on it , but it looks like it's hitting the orifice. I noticed the screw had an "L" type tip ( machined that way). Is the orifice supposed to seat/mate/touch into that plug screw? Does that mean I have to remove the orifice far enough to touch it to the screw as I tighten it? I tried to screw the plug screw back on, by hand, but it felt like it was hitting something and I wasn't about to put pressure on it. I only did this on one carb. I wasn't about to continue with it until I get the first one to close correctly.<br />It's a 2001 johnson 150 v6 carb'd.
