Does it pick up speed when the bulb is pumped? Air leak or maybe ripped fuel pump diaphragm.

You would get more and better help if you tell your trouble in the title instead of screaming for help. Qualified helpers often ignore threads that give no clue what sort of help you want.

Everyone who posts here wants help, and they want it now.

Stop throwing parts at it. You might be broke before you find it. You probably have a dead cylinder, but it could be a timing or control issue.

Do a compression test and try disabling each cylinder to discover a dead cylinder.

Let us know what you find.

Post a photo of it: If it is Magna-Power II, you may have an ignition problem.

If not MagII, then remove the carbs and set float level correctly, reattach and synchronize them. Replace the fuel pump diaphragm.

Now, You really don't define the problem well: See, if it feels like it is slipping you may have a spun prop. The engine will rev well in gear but go nowhere. So, remove the prop and mark the prop hub and insert. Then run. If the two lines ahve moved relative to each other, the rubber hub insert is slipping.

No it just stays at one speed, could my power pack be bad? If so is there anyway to fix that? The motor starts on a dime, but when i put it in forward or reverse it stays at one speed i think RED SKY has a good point about the cylinder test ill try that tonight and let you all know what happens, thank you buddy, and everyone else who post, every little bit helps.

Running on one cylinder for what reason? No spark? Or no compression? You need to check compression ratio on both cylinders and check spark. You also need to let us know if it is Magna-Power II ignition.

WE are like computers GIGO--Garbage In, Garbage Out. If you want good advice we need as many facts as possible.

As Frank says more info please. Pics so we can se if it has MAGII ign. or Prestolite. If MAGII there are four causes no spark on one cylinder. Bad CD module, bad trigger module, bad capacitor and bad ign. coil.

Re: Need help ASAP!!!! PLEASE

Ok sorry guys, first time at all this i dont have a way to put pictures on my computer right now,but It is a MAG powerII and the top cylinder is geting good compression and spark, the bottom cylinder is geting good compression just no spark. I can start and run the motor with the top cylender just fine. I went and got a new coil for the bottom and tested the + wire on the ignition coil with a test light and it is not geting any juce so i think it has to be under my flywheel or something im not sure? So its not the coil that my sparkplug plugs into so now im not sure what to do next,i need to get power to the bottom ignition coil some how?

Re: Need help ASAP!!!! PLEASE

Ok, now you have to troubleshout it. First pull off the ign.coilwires from the plugs and crank the engine a couple of turns. On the portside of the engine just under the flywheel there are two terminals T1 and T4 (T1 have two wires connected white/blue for trigger and white for the capacitor module, T4 has also two wires connected green/whire for trigger and green for capacitor module). Take an insulated screwdriver and ground the shaft to the flywheel then touch the tip to T1 terminal. If you get a good arc between the terminal and the tip the output from the CD module is good. Do the same with the T4 terminal. No arc at either T1 or T4 terminal the CD module can be bad at the T1 or T4 output.
But you have to check the capacitor to. Swap the white wire (T1 terminal capacitor) with the green wire (T4 terminal capacitor). Crank the engine again and do the screwdriver test at the T1 and T4. If the arc changes from T1 to T4 or the other way you have a bad capacitor module. If no changes at all, the CD module is bad.

Good luck.
