Need help finding older parts

I have a 1987 50 hp Evinrude and need the brushes for the power tilt and trim. This unit has the cylinders on the outside of the motor. The hydraulic motor is made by prestollite SAE J 1171. The next set of numbers start with HYB and maybe a 5 but can not read the rest of the code. The last line is 3 87 which take as the year. I can find older pumps and newer but nothing for this year.<br /><br />Thanks for all the help in advance.<br />Larry

BRP<br />Part # 982310 ( if the motor is horizontal )<br />Part # 172854 ( if the motor is vertical )<br /><br />See your local dealer...

Thanks Rabidfish. I called the dealer and he told me I would need to buy a new T & T. This time I will go to a different dealer with a Part number.<br /><br />Thanks for the help<br />Larry

Also alot of parts and rebuilt units are available from ARCO, some of these places think everyone make a quarter million a year, like our friend in DC.--Bob

I wouldn't know... I have no friends(or enemies)in DC.<br /><br />All my real friends live in Escanaba...
