Need Help Idenifying Mercury Motor

We recently purchased a boat with a Mercury motor on it, and I'm not sure of the manufacture year.

Its an inline 6, 115hp, and I have a partial serial number....the tag isn't really legible.

S/N: B110616 The B might also be an 8...can't really tell.

Any thoughts??

It is on a 1984 Fiberking Bomber, so it may be from the same era.
