Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,........
You stated the make, but not the full model of yer motor,..??......
There should be an alphanumeric model designation,.....

If your engine is a fresh water cooled slant 4 cylinder genuine Volvo engine this is the Sierra # 18-5906.
Bayliner used that model engine at that time.
If you are still in doubt try to post a picture of your engine.

Hey Kenny! Thanks for getting back to me! Well here's a picture of the motor hopefully what you sent me is correct cuz honestly I can't find it and really just in lieu throwing in an automotive starter! I'll wait till you get back to me to verify this might be the right one thanks again Kenny :)

That is the engine I figured you have. You should be able to locate the starter with the # I posted.
No luck on the plenum cover however.

I found that there is an ID plate on the bell housing. It almost looks like a 125. I have an 87 with a 125 in it. I can take a picture of the plate on where it is at tomorrow if you still haven't found it.

I had this exact same motor at one point in time. The starter for the older Volvo car 440 / 4 Cyl. should work. Might do some research on this, or take the old one out to compare. ? Hope this helps.
