Need help on adjusting steering for MG??

Hi Folks,<br /> I posted several days ago but could not get a reply, trying again. I have a new Motor Guide FreshWater Bow mount 54lbs, 50" shaft. It has a breakaway mount. When I go to let it over the side or more importantly bring it in, it just spins around wacking the bow. To get it to lay in its horizontal position on the mount, I have to press down and hold the foot pedal at that exact position or it spins. Instructions for that model show nothing on adjusting the tension. It does show it for the ES Tour model only. Motor guide website has no email support and no dealers listed in Massachusetts. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Wally
