Need help on rebuilding carb

A person brings me a carburetor on an older 9.9 mercury.I think it is a 1990 or earlier. I ordered a kit and bad need a diagram on how everything goes back. It was torn down when I recieved it and I cannot figure the correct way to assemble it back. Thanks for any help. Tom

If you have the serial number for your motor, you can view the parts diagram for your carb at the Mercury Parts Express website. This site will also contain a parts list for the carb in case you need to order any parts or identify specific parts numbers.

There are other sites on line that have parts lists too, such as:

A shop manual for your motor would, of course, also contain a parts diagram of the carb.
