need help tourney tomorow

ok i'm a ding bat!!<br /><br />i was cleaning the prop shaft on my minn kota power drive 40 (had a lot of weeds on the shaft )and noticed what looked like grass comming out the prop shaft seal. i took the cover off and started removing the stuff out . got to thinking it might be a wax seal. there is an o-ring in there. help, i have a tourney tomorow and its windy out thanks
