**NEED HELP - what prop would u use

Im thinking about using a piranha prop for my 17 foot monark bass boat with a v4 115hp yammy. The prop on now is a Michigan aluminum 13" diameter and pitch is unknown to me. Has 1010Q5 stamped on it. Anyway, what diameter and pitch would you guys use. Right now i top out at about 45mph but only top out at 35-3800rpm. Its got more,I think. What do you suggest? Bigger diameter and small pitch like a 14 or what?? Thanks so much for any advise.

Talk to your local prop shop. A good prop guy will help you get exactly what you want from your boat... things float in the water and props hit them, so go get to know the guy, you'll be seeing him again one day.
