So i bought a 22' Celebrity and it came with a Bimini cover. It has a rubber seal on the edge that is supposed to clip into the front window to make a seal for wind i guess. This rubber is dry rotted, is this something that i can get replaced? Where can i buy it?

I guess its a navy top? Here are some pics of the rubber seal that attaches it to the window.

Technically I think that's a convertible top. I'd check with a local marine canvas shop. I'm sure one of the other's on the forums have worked with it before, but I've actually never seen that on any of my tops.

Thanks, I did find some more results under the convertible cover. Unfortunately i dont have any boat repair shops near by. I was planning on buying the rubber piece and having it sewed on. I may just go to snaps after all.

how does it attach to the boat, or does it. The 'prongs' on the u ( to me it looks like a u-shaped rubber channel with prongs ) , do they slide into anything? Close up on how it attaches to both the the canvas and the window would help.

EDIT: looks similar to this: http://www.sailrite.com/Snap-on-Windlace-Black

Going to snaps would be the best idea. Easy to get it on and off.
