One thing a time is what I recommend. You may need to dial in the 4bbl setup first, and if you change too many things at once you will not know what did what. Get a prop that fits your boat now, then when you do change to 4bbl see what it does then, like if it wants to over-rev. Then you will know to go higher in pitch and how much then, hard to say now.

IF your going to drop a 4 barrel on there it's about 800. it will make some difference but not a whole lot. A good 21 stiletto 3 blade ss would handle the 4barrel or a 20p 3 blade solas would do for now

Awsome thanks for the help looks like ill stick with the 2 barrel for now, so u think a 3 blade 14 1/2'' 21p would be to much for my set up now? they dont make much for a 20p ss for my boat, also Diameter dosent matter?

Thats the safe bet. when you ran your last test was the boat empty or loaded..You could try to swing a 21 but i doubt it would out perform the 20 in all around boating

:DYes your in a tight call..going to that 20 ss should drop 3-400 rpm 21 is dropping 4-500 thats a jump. Now my tub could run a 21 with 1.66 thats a 4.3 220hp...the v8 does have more tourqe so maybe but its a WAG.

20@4950 w/1.61 put's you at 53 with a people not bad
21@ 4950 does 56 how greedy are you..:D it could a 300 dollar wiff..

Ayuh,... That link goes to the main page, not any particular intake, 'n carb...
http://marine-performance-parts.com/hipsbcm.aspx

-High Rise Cast Iron Intake
-Brand New Edelbrock Marine 4bbl Carb w/ Electric Choke
-K&N 9x4" Stainless Flame Arrestor w/PCV Tubes
-Intake, Carb, and Thermostat Gaskets
-Carb Mounting Bolts
-Intake Manifold Plugs
-Fuel Line (Mercruiser)
-Throttle Bracket (Mercruiser)
-Electric Choke Power Wire (choke is self grounded)
-RTV Silicone Sealer

thats what the kit includes not sure if it fit with the high rise? my rpms are at 4800 with the 20p ss looking to bump the power up and run a 21 pitch with the same rpm

Hmm give them a call and ask if that's a factory intake..If so well its really a single plane manifold good for throttle body but for a carb dual plane will give you a better response,,,Just a thought..
