Got a couple questions for everyone here.
1988 Bayliner Bass, 1970 Evinrude 115. motor runs great no missfiring ect, boat will hit about 32-35mph top speed. Have tried trimming motor different angles, not much change. motor only reaches about 3,000-3100 rpm full throttle. what gives. is the prop on the boat too large??? I cannot find any markings on prop so I am not sure what I have installed on it. Any recommendations for this.
Also when looking at side of boat on trailer with motor at zero trim (straight up and down like in water) how far down below boat do you want the lower drive, is there a rule of thumb. the motor mounts on the evinrude have 5 positions up and down. anyone have pictures of there set up.
