need help with suzuki

i have a 1999 suzuki 85 oil injected outboard. it idels a revs very good . as soon as you put it in forward gear it boggs like it want take the gas , put new plugs in it does great for about three minutes then boggs again. i don't think it is charging. any ideas

When was the last time the carbs were broke down and cleaned?

Sounds like the common malady. It is probably running on two cylinders only.
Could be the carbs as already stated but a quick compression test would tell you if it is worth doing the carbs or if the motor needs rebuilding.
The lubrication system on the Suzuki' is probably the best but even that, without the proper maintenance and setting, can go wrong causing a cylinder failure.
A manual is a good investment.
