OK thank you and while we are on the subject of sealing mating surfaces I have a conflict I need to resolve; I've got someone telling me to put all gaskets on DRY meaning no liquid sealer (except the block halves which have no gasket).<br /><br />Am I understanding you correctly RB that you prefer Perfect Seal on the water jackets, & Exhaust cover mating surfaces? Further, should I apply this to heads and intake also and forget about dry-only? Seems to me I would want to put sealer on ALL the mating surfaces.<br /><br />Order being: apply sealer to mating surface A, place gasket on top, apply sealer to mating surface B, join parts (no lateral movement), apply piipe sealant to bolts, torque bolts in special sequence, torque second time.<br /><br />pls confirm. thanks.
