need info on 1992 150 johnson evinrude / im a newbie

not having any problems yet - just bought my first boat a 1992 180 nitro tracker fish and ski with a 1992 johnson/evinrude 150 hp - boat mechanic friend did all checks before purchase and said its a solid motor but would like to know some details like how much does motor weigh? what is the diffrence between my 2 stroke and the newer 4 strokes? how much weight will my boat handle as in people- i did the equation given by the us coast guard for figuring out max weight allowed and came up with 1260 lbs however this is supposed to include the weight of the motor and on board items-the boat is 18 ft from bow tip to back of small standing platforms- i havent had it on the water yet- also is a fish and ski considered a modified v-hull? ps the info plate with the max weight is completly faded and unreadable. does any one have a similar boat and what can you tell me about the handeling and ride and any other info?

Try posting in the non repair forum.
Good engine btw, weighs around 380lbs.
I wouldn't put more than 4 people in an 18 footer.
