You may not need much of anything. Give her a good tuneup and see how the motor is. I would think the bellows have dryrotted by now. Loosen the fill screw on the bottom of the outdrive and see how the fluid looks. Do a compression test before the tuneup and see what condition the pistons, rings and valves are in

The bellows are the rubber tubes coming out of the outdrive. Go back through a lot of posts and you will get all of the info you need. Lift the outdrive and look in and you will see them.

OMC Stringer outdrives don't have bellows.

Inspect the large rubber boot around your drive. A hole in this could sink your boat. They are known to dryrot and are not terribly expensive to replace.

Ok Guys Another quick question....
Drained the Oil and found some water (about 1" in a 5 gal bucket worth) . I noticed on top of the water pump on the engine there's a Plug. Can I hook a Hose directly to this to test run the engine ? I'm guessing the Impeller is/could be rotted and dont trust a Water tank test at this time... If thats not a spot for a garden hose where else can I attach one ?
Thanks !
PS: Whats the worst that could happen if the impeller fragments on theis first test run ?
