I need to have some info on the guts of the distributor on a 1972, Merc 800, 4-cylinder battery-powered CD ignition system. I know it has a four lobe interupter but by measuring the <br />current drawn (12.5 ma's) I almost suspect an LED or something similar. Anyone been in to one and could help me here? (building an external CD unit and need to drive it properly.)
