Need more prop?

Just wondering if I should ge more prop? Running a 17 pitch aluminum right now. And I hit 5,000 rpms at WOT, gained about 100 rpm's after running a can of Sea Foam.
3.0 Mercruiser, 140hp, on a 17 foot bowrider.

Yup, it sounds like you should be running a 19....​

Thanks, I am borrowing my cousins 19 hopefully gonna be able to pop it on tonight, His is out of a brand new rinker with a 3.0 mercruiser, but it doesn't have the toothed gear is that just an inner hub will it be tranferable to to mine directly? Mine is an '88, both are alpha one's
