Need motor ID info

Just got a sears by mariner by mercury 9.9 hp. SN. oe128179, model 225.581998. This motor is very low hours and I would like to do some basic repairs/ maintance to it. I bought a seloc repair manual for merc/mariner (1990-2000 2.5 hp to 275 hp 2 stroke models) and I see no relation to my motor to the one listed in this book. Totally differant than the 9.9 models listed in this book.I installed a waterpump and the referance in the book is not for this motor, same with the thermostat, and carb. I also got an mid 80's force and it looks very simulaar to my marnier. I need to know what repair manual I need so I can get into this motor over the winter to repair some basic items. Thanks for your help.

Sears motors were Force product (sold as Gamefisher)-owned by Mercury in '99. The "OE" in your serial# is a Force listing. Don't know what to tell you about Wal Mart tech manuals.
