Maybe a trip to the wrecking yard with your pulleys in hand to match them up correctly would be an option.

I actually have a whole second set but they are not much better. They get a wear grove and some rust on em. The water pump and power steering seem to be the worst on both. Crank is not steel so they are in much better shape. I may just clean up my second set buy having a friend glass blast them and baked enamel. He did my outdrive and it's beautiful. That won't fix wear but give the belts a stable surface to displace their energy. I have no bone yards around my area. That would be cool. Like a kid in a candy store. Lol. Thanks

After seeing what those pulleys cost it makes me think if I ever have to do the same with my 4.3L I would think about dropping the extra bucks and get a serpentine conversion kit.

I investigated that avenue to the end with no sure plan to retrofit. Im sure it can be done. I couldn't find a company with the knowledge I guess.
So I took the best of the crank, waterpump and power streering pulleys to a motorcycle shop in town. They will glass bead them down and powder coat them black for 25 dollars a pully. I was very happy to hear that quote. They are the folks that did my bell housing, gimbal and otter transom plate.

Here is before and after work they did on the sterndrive parts

Hi BT DOCTOR

I went thru this with you on the rebuild and you said I didn't need it since my shaft has a grease gally from the top to the bottom internally. You stated I was Lucky to have that type of shaft.

Thanks for watching out for me DOC. Here's the pics from that post.
