i dont have any newer pics of the boat with me but this will do i guess. i cut the top shell in half to remove it and replace the floor. the line i have drawn is where i cut it. the reason i did it this was instead of lifting the whole shell is that i poured seacast and redid the transom months ago and when i glassed over the transom, i glassed the bottom and top together and didnt want to bother the work i had already finished on the side rails, where i have circled in the pics, there is a board that runs the length of the boat. about 1/4" 3 inches wide. how important is it to get that board back together or is it ok to to butt it back up together and glass it back together? im thinking its more for support on the rails from people stepping on them and what not, rather than structure. finished pics to come real soon!
