Not really that big of a problem, but none the less just need some help and opinions.
This past summer I bought a $250 boat, and I got a $250 dollar boat. The boat doesn't have a title (big problem), it will need some wood replacing (which I knew about and am not afraid to take on), engine is an OMC stringer that will probally need a new starter or something along those lines. Heres a link to more about the boat.
What I need advice on is if I should:
A) Keep this boat and try to go through the pain of getting a title. I pretty much have nothing to go off of. I already checked to see if anyone had reported it as stolen and it wasn't.
B) Buy a new old boat that has a title and a mercruiser or anything without the nice rubber boot around the outdrive and get that boat going and sell off parts of the old boat to pay for some of the cost.
C) Just give up
Naw I couldn't do that!
So given the options, what do you think I should go about doing?
Thanks!
Matt
