Re: Need Some House Sitters!!!
Man! Ontario or Florida ... I'm not sure which party to go to first
Can you guys each give me a list of new accommodations and features? I'm assuming both properties have been recently upgraded, correct?
... decisions, decisions ...
Southkogs, you are correct. Ken's place has been...well...remodeled recently but, as I recall, most of the work was done by others

. I don't recall many of the details as the last time I was there I got into some chinese (wine?) stuff and...well...let's just leave it there (and don't worry Ken, I'm not touching that stuff again

).
First off, my two-acre place is fenced, so those that tend to wander as the night progresses won't need SAR to be located in the morning.
Second, my kitchen facility should handle any creative culinary considerations for the venison, hog, rattlesnake, grouper, snapper and flounder that you'll find in the freezers. There are two reach-in coolers brimming with a large selection of domestic and imported adult beverages. There are five ovens and a large range. I only ask that you keep all frying out back where you'll find the three 80K btu cookers. The outdoor fish cleaning station is around back, also; feel free to clean your catch there (just be sure to rinse it well and put carcasses in the bear-resistant garbage can...keeping the motion-sensored floods on overnight also helps to deter the bears:redface

.
Lastly, the boat is water ready; gas and oil are full, as is the freshwater tank. I'll leave maps to several nearby ramps that'll give you great access to the river, bay and gulf. Last night I serviced all my reels and replaced all lines. The tackle and all are in the shed out back. If you go out deep, please take care of my Okuma rig as that was a 25th Anniversary gift from the Admiral and I cherish it deeply.
Other than that, just tidy up a bit before you all leave. I'll probably be back on the 29th around 6pm. Have a great time!
