I went to look at an early 80's maybe late 70's model Silverline cabin cruiser with my cousin. My cousin was the main one interested in the boat at first so this is why I don't have all the info, then my cousin backed out because he wants a smaller boat.
This boat wouldn't be used on the ocean it would be eather a fix and resell or keeper and used on the local lakes and rivers. It has a 351 mercruiser in it with what looks to be an alpha 1 outdrive which is a little coroaded. Trailer looks to be in decent shape but it does need tires and it is a dual axle trailer. Interior looks decent, still has the sink and stove.
Now my cousin was looking to swap his older Ford bronco for this boat which he was asking $2500 for the bronco. Thing is my father has a Ford F150 that the owner of the boat might be interested trading even with also. My father is asking $3000 for the truck. Still got to do a compression check on it, although I was told and the man even offered to run the motor for us. I'm seriously thinking about getting this boat if it works out, maybe even use it as a home away from home.
What do you guys think?
