Need tire suggestions

Hi, guys,
I need to buy new tires for my Grand Cherokee before I drive up to Texas (from Mexico) and pull a 20' sailboat back to Yucatan. I've got Michelin P235/65R17 (model 103T M+S).

I'd like an all-terrain so I can put the boat in and pull it out of our boat ramp down here (which isn't in very good condition--basically, just packed sand).

I've always used Michelins, gotten a lot of years out of them, and loved them--no problems ever. But they're really expensive here in Mexico and I'd feel better about having a little more traction available.

Any suggestions?

+1 for Tirerack.com. I would look at the Yokohama Geolanders. I have had great luck with them on my Durango.
