Then you're pretty much stuck looking at craigslist, local newspapers, bulliten board at the local marine store, etc.. Just make sure you check the tag on the tounge for load rating.

The last time I bought a trailer it was for a 20' boat. It was 5 years old and cost me $2,400. I don't think your $1,000 budget is very realistic.

I have a 1997 Heritage trailer believe it to be 29' feet, tandem axel, I have no idea what to ask for it but I am in kansas. says the gawr is 6000lbs, or anyone that might know how much this thing is worth let me know. I need a smaller trailer. Its way to big for my boat.

How much is it rated for?
Also don't see any surge brakes, does it have electric brakes? And if it does, has your truck got a brake controller?

Does look like it fits pretty well sizewise

seems like the topic d'jour. With rollers, you don't want them at the very end (and certainly not behind!) the transom; a few inches in is what you want. Looks OK in that regard. However, the tongue weight is crucial to safe driving.

if it were me, much as I love DIY and not spending money, I'd take it to a professional trailer shop or other rigger to be sure. If that big boat on that long tongue starts willy-wagging you are dead meat. They can also advise you on the condition of the brakes and get them all working. it's not worth the risk to save a few $$ and no one here can advise you on your set up by photos.

you do have brakes, right?
