Need to find out the year of Johnson outboard

Hi all,

I own a Johnson 40 HP outboard, its serial number is 2572941.
Anyone know what year it is and its model number ?

You can find it by the model number on the tag plate.I found it that way on a site.

The serial number is within the range of my known Johnson 1965 serial numbers; you will need to verify that with a BRP dealer.
