I had to replace belowdeck gas tank this year, Problem is the replacement fitting( gas fill) are all up and down and in the middle of the tank not towards the front and at a 90 degree. Question is any ideas for new location or how would you make a 90? plumbing supply? (already checked Home Depot) The new Tank is made out of molded plastic and my boat is 17 ft Proline center console

You should be able to find a molded or flexible fuel specific rubber hose that will work at the auto parts or farm supply store. Do you know what dimensions you need?

The OP is talking about the metal hose nipple on the top of the tank, not the hose. The fill hose itself needs to be USCG approved. It's wire cored, and that stuff is plenty stiff.

I had a Pro-Line that also had a 90-deg. tank fitting, but I didn't need to replace mine. Hopefully somebody has the answer for you.

Good luck

You can goto any hardware store and get fittings to make what you need, get the brass fittings and make sure they are marked WOG (water, oil, gas). I recomend using a liquid pipe sealent, not teflon tape when your putting it together.
