Hi...i recently bought a 1990 Bass Tracker Pro 17 and need to buy a cover for when I trailer the boat. I have looked at Bass Pro and even Walmart and see they come in Denier ratings, 150, 300 and 600 typically. I have heard the universal ones (as mentioned at BPRO, Walmart, etc) typically dont fit correctly, and may tear in the wind. The 600 highway model costs about $200( at one place) and $100 and another. My other option is a custom made one for about $375 specific to my boat. I am trying to decide do I spend $375 or are the universal ones good enough? I would probably trailer the boat 2-3hrs maybe 10 times per year. Most trips are less than 1hr, and wouldnt go in bad weather. if that helps.

any suggestions / advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
