Never Run In The House

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NEVER RUN IN THE HOUSE
How many times have we been told....and have told our children... NOT to run in the house?
Did we always listen?
Do they listen? Not always.
Sometimes our seemingly futile efforts fail, and 'boo-boo's' happen.
Here is a little guy who didn't listen, and he got his own souvenir.
Perhaps he'll learn from his mistake... Maybe....

Doesn't look too bad...
But perhaps he should keep this next photo handy to explain the way it happened!

He's pretty lucky. It could easily have been an eye.

Aw jeeez,

Poor little guy, He looked like he was pretty brave though!

Man....I can just imagine the different way it could have gone!

I'll bet he hasn't run for a bit huh?

God blessed him right there when it only went through his nose! NO doubt!

Take care, PH.

Re: Never Run In The House!

yeah it looked like it hurt. my wife emailed it to me so i had to use some of my new skills .........i just recently learned how to post pics --- im computer illiterate .

a better title would have been "never run with sharp objects" but this is the title it had so i left it alone.

my kids are 12-16-17 so they should know better but i thought maybe someone out there might be able to use this as an example.....who am i kidding you can tell them every 15min and as soon as you turn your back or they round the corner its happy go lucky do what i want!

i do feel for the poor little guy...he looked like he was taking it in stride though.

If he were 19 and living in the French Quarter, he'd have paid someone $100 to do that to him!

That reminds me of when my oldest wiped out on some slippery stairs with my youngest. He was only 2 at the time. He bit right through his lower lip.

Looks like it hurt and i am glad i was not the parent having to listen to him ball. Its just agonizing listing to a child in pain.

Re: Never Run In The House!

The true story has nothing to do with running in the house. It happend in restaurant.

From Snopes.com.
It's real. Happened July 11th in Minneapolis at a chinese buffet restaurant. He was climbing into the booth and fell while holding his fork in his hand. When the waiter picked him up from under the table the fork was through his nose. There was only a little blood because the fork tines missed all of the cartilage in his nose (Thank God). The one picture is from the ER and the other picture is two days later at home. The ER doctor and ENT doctor we saw the following day said that they had never seen this before and that we were pretty lucky that the fork went up and out through his nose. We saved the fork and this picture for him to see when he gets older. We emailed the pics to our family, coworkers and friends and now they are all over the internet. Live and learn I guess.

Well, he is a Twins fan, he has a lifetime of misery ahead. The fork is just a minor bump in the road.
